James Holmes, the gunman behind the Dark Knight massacre in Colorado last July, has reportedly turned Muslim and prays five times a day.
The killer showed off a lengthy, thick beard during a court appearance earlier this month, and a prison source has claimed it is a symbol of his new-found faith.
The source said Holmes has turned to Islam as a way of justifying his horrific murder spree in an Aurora, Colorado cinema on July 20 which left 12 people dead and 58 people wounded.

My apologies. I got this story mixed up with the newer story of the Muslim who killed those five serviceman just this week. Sorry about that error. There are just so many such ‘stories’ these days.
Islam is a perfect religion for our prison population. Robbing, raping, and killing infidels is a religious duty for Moslems.
2 Thessalonians 2
10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
I’ve said it before, nobody converts to Islam for good reasons. My guess is he figures he’ll be in prison for the rest of his life one way or another so he might as well get in with the muzzies.
Good. Wrap him in bacon, fire up old sparky, and let's cook him till he's good and crispy!
I'm A-OK with that.
You're A-OK with him in paradise?
Muslim recruiting needs to be STOPPED ALL American prison ... it’s no different than allowing Mexican Drug Cartel members to recruit... It’s not that all Muslims are bad - because they’re not... but that creepy Saudi Wahhabism’s the pits... it’s evil... almost as bad as ISIS...
So ... his mental illness is getting worse.
"God wills that all men be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Tim. 2:4)
I am always disappointed with people whose 'god' is either feeble and lacks the power to save, or evil and lacks the will to save.
I've heard of 'deities' like that: people who believe in such a god, often find him in the Koran.
From the article:
He now prays five times a day, sticks to a strict Muslim diet and spends hours each day studying the Qur'an, the source said. But his new routine has upset Muslim inmates.
'None of them condone forms of terrorism or extremism,' the source added. 'And they don't want their religion to be connected to that awful shooting.'
1 Corinthians 6:11
"And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God."
"God has consigned all men to disobedience that he may have mercy on all" (Rom. 11:32).
In fact, Jesus died for James Holmes. He died for him, and we don't even pray for him? We've been told to love and pray for sinners, even to love enemies.
"Have this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." Philippians 2:5.
>>Obviously, God has chosen to keep this hell-bent murderer alive to the present day. Our Savior is not through with him....God is certainly still calling him.
Not necessarily. If we were kept alive until we accepted Christ, then some people would be hundreds of years old. Was Hitler kept alive until he repented? We have our life and it is over when it is over. That is no indication of whether God was through with us or not.

His work on the cross is sufficient for all, but efficient for the elect. Holmes chose Satan with his prison conversion to islam. This fallen world has unrepentant evil too.
It’s not uncommon for Islamic parents to encourage their adult children to go ‘deeper into Islam’....this he did as was evidenced by those in his Mosque....I don’t think he needed any “persuasion” rather encouraged by his family and others in Islam to pursue further.
His trip to Jordan and then Yemen simply furnished the rest of what he was seeking....Islam is ISIS ...it IS Jihad....he was simply doing what Islam teaches....
If there was any direct “order” it came from the Iman who said to shoot the military here in our country if they were not fighting in their wars. So that’s what he and others are doing.
Probably working on an Obama pardon.
I didn't say that or imply it. My point, however, is that it would be blasphemy to say Jesus cannot save even a person who has done a damnable thing. He must repent. We must pray for him. Hope in God consists in a firm confidence in His power and will to save.
Isaiah 1:18
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."
We should be praying on this promise for the murderer's sake: not repeating ad nauseam, "It ain't gonna happen."
Jesus came for the LOST sheep. Hard to imagine anyone more lost than James Holmes. Is it impossible for him to be saved? For God, nothing is impossible.
Let’s give the POS a Texas style “permanent rehabilitation” and a 12 gauge enema.

God is sovereign. He will do what he will do. I never said that Jesus cannot do anything. But, you know them by their fruits. Holmes chose to worship Satan. I’m not saying that he won’t change. But a this point in time, he is worshiping Satan five times a day.
The worlds is full of sinners who do not know Christ and have not freely chosen Satan. I will pray for them. Feel free to pray for Holmes, but I do not have time for him right now.
Christ, through His Apostle Paul, is exhorting us, first of all, to pray for all men.
What could be clearer than that?
What good is arguing going to do? Pray for him.
I only pray for God’s will to be done. He knows his ultimate plan for Holmes. I cannot change that. The things we pray for are the things that happen between birth and death, but do not pray for the dead or for those who take their sins to the grave without repentance. But, a person’s salvation is wholly dependent on the work of God.
