Sad that it has to come to that. There are just too many and shelters can’t find enough homes. They carry disease, they can be vicious. Plus stupid people won’t spay or neuter. It’s really the fault of idiot humans letting them breed indiscriminately and dumping unwanted cats in rural and wooded areas.

All ferals aren’t equal. There are neutered ferals who are as unobtrusive as can be. One my mom feeds is very affectionate, and yet, he is still feral. Conversely, many domesticated cats act “feral” around strangers.

Don’t paint with such a broad brush

They’re not all so-called ‘FERAL’. And I can’t tell you how many kitties that were born outside (feral) that are now tame. MOST of them. MOST ‘so called ‘feral’ cats are just dumped, strays or lost. We are getting that term ‘feral’ banned because MOST cats are not feral...since that term is thrown around so loosely and incorrectly. They are now being called ‘community cats’.
