New Haven (always been this way, since my college days in the '60s). Weird place. Lots of under-class residents. In the middle of it all, Yale. Easy train ride to NYC or Boston. Fantastic pizza.

I'd think having unaccounted for dead people is not the norm.

All I know about New Haven is that they claim to have invented the hamburger there, and they are generally ranked very close to Flint, Michigan in national crime rankings.

New Haven Pizza: Best in the universe. Sally's, best of all, but also Pepe's, The Spot, Palm Beach, Modern, St. John and an increasing number of very good second tier imitators.

Ronald Reagan referred Sally's while Clinton preferred Pepe's. Tiebreaker goes to Frank Sinatra who, when appearing in New York, regularly sent his driver to Sally's 75 miles from NYC to get his pizza.

Mangia!
