Shouldn’t he have to explain his previous comments? I would think so.
Never have been on the Trump bandwagon. Some of the things he has been saying lately are true but I do not believe that he really believes in what he is saying. I really think this is just a game to him.
Trump's comments on immigration are a textbook case of right message, wrong messenger. To him, this election is just another reality show, where you're supposed to be scandalous and provocative for its own sake. Those who trust his Johnny-come-lately conservatism on immigration and most other issues are deluded. People's views can change, but who in his right mind can trust someone who has done an about-face on about a dozen issues in the course of a couple of years?

Actually he says he’s pro-life and the marriage issue should have been left w/ the states.
As far as flip flopping, I agree, we do have a lot of candidates that have, and we also have regular politicians in this race that make a career out of it. The one thing, however, that Trump IS doing now is carrying the flag, so to speak, on some very important issues and making many of the GOPe candidates look weak and irrelevant. My concern is more of what happens if he stays in and gets elected...will he follow through or will it be more of the same (historic mid-term 2014 relection and nothing to show for it other than more lame promises and excuses)?

I’ve been taking heat for saying the same thing only I used the same brashness Trump uses, I call him a Con Man and a Charlatan, what you see is not what you will get.
He uses the truth to tap into feelings and emotions, so many are falling for it here on FR, we conservatives are suppose to be thinkers not easily swayed by those who have a history of being NOT TRUSTWORTHY.
I will take heat from many for this comment as well... bring it on, also I find no fault with Cruz adapting a useful tool for as long as it is sharp, when it becomes dull he will set it somewhere on the outside of his tool box, the answer to those who are critical of Cruz forming an alliance with Trump... Cruz is a strategist he knows about keeping you enemies closer.
