Navy Secretary Ray Mabus called the terrorist’s spree “insidious and unfathomable.” resident Obama bemoaned the “heartbreaking circumstance” in which the murdered Marines found themselves.

Here’s what’s unfathomable: While the social justice warriors in Washington bend over backwards to appease CAIR and Muslim civil rights absolutists, Americans in uniform are dying on American soil at the hands of Allah’s homicidal avengers—but the commander-in-chief couldn’t even bother to deliver a live statement to the nation yesterday about the bloodshed.

Jihadists are killing American troops INSIDE our own country and our government is more concerned about the feelings of muslims.
Islam has been at war with everyone else since 622 A.D.
It’s interesting that American troops serving in foreign Muslim countries like Afgan and Iraq, amongst others, must have full battle rattle and loaded weapons when they venture outside the wire. But when they serve in the U.S., specifically in areas that have large Muslim populations, they can’t even carry a skeptical look on their face. When the are we going to let our fighting, trained as they are, defend themselves like an average American?

Certainly if the DOD were to adopt the Battle flag it would be a finger in the eye of the anti-americans, although not historically accurate.
However, consider that Congress acknowledged Confederate Army/Navy veterans as US Veterans, after all. If the veterans can be integrated back into the US, why not the flags as historic US flags?
Then it can fly along with the Navy Jack (which includes "don't tread on me", I used to get a kick out of pointing that out to folks in San Francisco during Fleet week).
