Businessman Donald Trump on Thursday said the country has to provide health care for the poor and that he’s “actually a conservative with a heart” who can work out deals with hospitals to make it happen.
“I want people taken care of in the country, okay? You can call it anything you want, but I want — including people that don’t have anything,” Mr. Trump said on “The John Fredericks Show.” about “We gotta do that.”
Mr. Fredericks, a Virginia-based radio host who has predicted that Mr. Trump will win the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, had asked Mr. Trump how to reconcile his statements critical of President Obama’s health care law with past statements in which Mr. Trump was warm to the notion of universal health care coverage.
“You know, I’m a very conservative guy … number one, the people that can do it, we’re going to get them plans that are so good and we’re going to break the borders, we’re going to go [to] the private plans,” Mr. Trump said. “A lot of people had plans they loved before Obamacare came along. You probably did. I have friends that had really good plans — now they have horrible plans and they’re paying five times more for [them].

Same for doctor’s offices, they come in and they have to treat them by law.
Offices try like heck to send them to an emergency room.
Which is why Conservatives give more to Charity than Liberals. Liberals think our Tax Dollars are Charity.
The Donald is channeling G.W. Bush, which is not a good idea if he hopes to lure Conservatives to his Candidacy.
I do think that his message will help him get the Blue Dog / Reagan Democrat Vote, if any of them are still alive.
I remember cringing when G.W. Bush used the Term “Compassionate Conservative”. I assume we all did.
As far as Trump wanting to reform the Healthcare System. He already stated that Obamacare has got to go, which most if not all of us here agree with. Outside of Cruz, what Republican Candidate has taken that position?
He also understands that you just can’t unilaterally end an Entitlement without having a Plan to take care of those that have already been ensnared in its Tentacles.
He stated in his Phoenix Speech that we can have a Healthcare System that is Better and Cheaper than Obamacare, which the Supreme Court has already decided is part of the “Fabric of our Society”, per Obama.
He promoted being able to buy Coverage without regard to State lines, which our side has promoted for Years.
This will be an Election Season for the Books.
I could still go for a Cruz / Trump Ticket, though I have no idea if either one will still be standing next Year.
In the meantime, my Money is going to Cruz.

Artcore is a perfect example. Here he is again. He admitted being wrong to me about Romney, then denied it when his buds gave him heat, then finally posted his own freepmail to me showing he had indeed admitted it, then retracted again.
These people are what they are. Liberals. They reason like them, they post like them, they argue like them...they ARE them.
Pich any vocal Trumpeter and check their post history. I guarantee you will find they hold multiple liberal positions and past Romney/Perry support.
Reagan spent twenty years carefully building his conservative credibility, and delivering conservative messages to thousands of audiences, before he dared ask us to elect him President!

Yes he did, but he had LOTS of time on his hands as an entertainer compared to a buisness man to be honest.
Trump probably works 12 hours a day 6.5 days of the week. He has zero time IMO to build reputations.
Plus these days the press treat you like Charles Manson unless you are a Democrat.

We all know what is wrong with that. It isn't just the poor. They are being taken care of and everyone knows it. It's the deadbeats, the welfare queens, those who sleep in every day and do nothing. It's the all around riff-raff who live quite well on the taxpayer dime by abusing a system that was intended to care for the poor. So they get all the "freebies" that Trump himself said we are all "entitled to from birth"? No thank you Mr. Trump. I work hard for what I have and I don't care to share it with the trash you feel are "entitled" to it.

He has a reputation. And a history. Well documented. All we need do is read it to see in his own words what he is.
If you prefer the liberal he is you should vote for him. If you prefer conservatism you should vote conservative. You cannot vote for trump and get conservatism from what he does not have.
...of course, it might help if he were actually over there (on the right) for more than 15 minutes....
