I was on base yesterday (contractor) and heard nothing about it.

It may be, as someone said, going down through the command before it hits the airwaves, but I would think something like this would have been leaked to the media by now. There are just too many folks today with social media who would have sent it to someone.

Same in some Army National Guard combat units at home as of the early 1990s. It's been no secret. It's simply not big in popular news.

Enlisted combat soldiers (infantry, engineers, special forces,...) are kept from carrying live ammo, because so many civilians are paranoid about them, especially civilians employed by state and local governments (see reaction to Jade Helm, Walter Mitty,...).

Most lifelong civilians are anti-defense. They're against actions needed overseas (like bombing Iran), so naturally, our country is crawling with rich, extended families of enemy and other enemy elements, all bribed in by foreign, global, commercial/political interests.

Most people interested in politics in both political parties do lean far to the left on defense, fiscal policies (big government spending for public school teachers, federal pork to state and local governments, regulators and all), social policies (feminism, sodomy,...)--nearly everything. The other face of the Californian Ideology through the Internet is in full blow.

The bipartisan, fascist political majority that brought the situation on have made our bed while embracing the enemy for dollars and pacifism. We'll all lay in it. Falsely accusing and hating on our servicemen won't change that. It will only make things more difficult for the perpetrators in the near future.

How many former enlisted combat soldiers (light combat MOS with most time in training spent on infantry drills--not others) do we see using political discussion boards or involved in local, bipartisan, politics or gossip in communities? Not many. There are good reasons for that.

I continue to go about my day to day chores and travels..... just higher capacity accessories on me and girl friday and a couple of legal tools under the back seat of the truck..... Wont chase trouble, will evade it if possible but if left no choice I will let em know I was there......

Our community is strong in this arena...... lord help the fool if they get froggy here ...my barber and local fry cook are even packin these days.
