words in our laws have meaning and can continue to reflect prejudice and discrimination The words "husband" and "wife" reflect prejudice and discrimination???? Why on God's earth did we ever close down the mental institutions in America????

For those of you who don't know who this dim bulb is, she's been voted the most ineffective congressdouche and she's a widow rep - only got in because her husband died in office. And she has an incredibly gerrymandered district that keeps her from being voted out.

I guess this was more pressing business for the congresswoman than dealing with the state’s other problems such as its water shortage, illegal aliens overrunning and bankrupting the state, and the exodus of people and businesses from California due to their high state taxes and excessive regulatory practices. Yes, all that can take a backseat to the more pressing matter of elimination of the words husband and wife from the US Code.
