The American people did not choose to put them in their respective positions though. So there has to be something more in my humble opinion. All the pieces just don’t seem to be there.

Of course they did. How do you suppose they got to those positions? Everyone new Bhoner and Mitch were the designated house Senate leaders when they ran. Everyone knew they’d get the job once elected. There was never a doubt. They campaigned with that language. No one has an excuse. The people in their states or the liberal idiots that ran around the web condemning anyone that opposed them.
