There has been an officer-involved shooting at the U.S. Naval Reserve Center on Amnicola Highway in Chattanooga.

The location is near the Tennessee Riverpark.

Early reports are that one Chattanooga police officer has been shot, according to Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke's office.

There may be other victims

Watching Twitter is interesting. So far I've seen it reported as a shooting at a Navy base, Navy recruiting center, Army recruiting center, a college. One shooter, multiple shooters, FBI and ATF responding, etc.

It'll probably wind up being someone dropped their gun and it accidentally went off.

I don't live in Chatt., but I think the Air Force, Marine, & Navy Recruiting Centers are located in the same strip mall. Erlanger hospital is reporting they are treating multiple victims.

Just from what I can tell, the active shooter was in Chattanooga. Bradley Mall is in Cleveland, up I-75 about 20 miles, I think. I’m reading that the shots fired there was wrong. My daughter was at the YMCA in Cleveland and was on lockdown. They have lifted that and she is on her way back to Chat.

I am surprised and pleased at how well Chattanooga and Cleavland Tn shut down everything. I don't live there but day trips for shopping. Great big/small town. AWESOME job!
