Jeb Bush says Republicans can’t win if they become the angry party.
The Republican presidential candidate accused his GOP rival, Donald Trump, of “preying upon people’s fears” to divide the county along racial and ethnic lines for political gain in the battle over illegal immigration. Bush argued that that is a losing strategy.
“We need to stop tearing — separating — ourselves by race and ethnicity and income. We need to focus on the things that tie us together,” said Bush, who is one of the few Republican presidential candidates who supports a pathway to legalization, although not full citizenship, for illegal immigrants living in America.
“And whether it’s Donald Trump or Barack Obama, their rhetoric of divisiveness is wrong. A Republican will never win by striking fear in people’s hearts,” said Bush, one of 15 Republicans vying for his party’s nomination.

Oh Yeb,I can’t vote for you - let me count the ways. Shouldn’t he be portraying himself as the anti-Obama or anti-Hillary? Good to know that he is the anti-Trump - it lets me know exactly where he stands on the issues, and he is on the wrong side.

She didn’t even get into the property. But earlier in the day report was the form the financial were posted on had a top limit to property which was much lower than many of his pieces including Tower. So his net worth is actually much higher

He’s starting to define his candidacy around Trump. Chalk up another win for Trump. I wish Cruz had Trump’s boldness. If Jeb had found it necessary to define his candidacy around Cruz, we’d have the nomination & pres in the bag.
I want to know where He and the other Republican presidential candidates were two years ago when Sanctuary Cities were in vogue? Why were you silent all these years and not decided to be against them? Why is it okay that these Cities continued to break the Federal Laws and you did nothing? Why did you suddenly decide to oppose them?
