A federal court released police video recordings Tuesday that show Gardena officers fatally shooting one unarmed man and wounding another in a 2013 incident that resulted in a recent $4.7 million legal settlement by the city.

oh thats right the victims werent black so revrunt sharpton kept his distance from these particular shootings. much
Who knows, but one thing I have noticed in all these police shooting videos.
Why are the cops unloading their entire clips when they shoot?
The baseball cap of that guy who was shot looked dangerous. You never know when you might come across an expert in Kung-Fu hat throwing.
Why are cops unloading their entire mags when they shoot?
They don’t want conflicting testimony?
Why were they originally there?
it’s their training.
and their training is wrong.
but cops rarely are held accountable when they are just following procedure.
however, the people who wrote the procedures are nameless and faceless and never held to account either.
this is how police states come into existence and this is how citizens and cops become mutual enemies.
whatever happened to the days when cops were part of the community? when calling the cops was more likely to solve a problem than to escalate it to a life or death situation? i personally won’t call the cops for any reason now. i simply don’t trust my life in their hands - and i’m a law-abiding conservative.
cops being videotaped and then held criminally liable is a start, but we also have to start incarcerating bad guys, which is not happening as much as it should. liberal judges routinely let bad guys right back out on the streets because of “overcrowding” in jails. the whole criminal justice system had been destroyed and made non-functional by the cultural marxists and nobody is really saying or doing anything about it. why does the ACLU get to determine whether a sentence is fair or unfair? why does to take years to bring criminal cases to trial? why does it take decades to execute somebody on death row?
That's the training. Once you've made the decision to use deadly force, you keep going until you can't go no more.
Wow, what great shooting! Every round hit the taxpayer’s wallet dead center.
I used to live in Gardena, Ca. For 13 years. 30+ years ago there were a lot of asians living there. They have all moved to Torrance and Palos Verdes. Gardena has gone down hill quite a bit. I don’t know about this incident.
We moved to Torrance because we had a few to many incidents happen at and around our home. Gang members chased a guy into our driveway to thump on him and we had a homeless guy remove our crawl space screen and sleep under the house one night. Called the cops and had him removed.
Gardena cops don’t mess around. Same with Torrance! lol A Surfer comes to mind.
lawsuits against cops (and the lawyers fees) shouldn’t come out of the taxpayers pockets. they should come out of the pensions of the police force. cops shouldn’t have pensions though. no governmental employee should. that’s another problem to be fixed. i sometimes feel that this country is so hopelessly screwed up and so many people have a vested interest in NOT fixing it that nothing can actually be done to put us back on the right road. realizing how truly corrupt this country has become depresses me.
Lawsuits hell those pieces of filth should get the needle
That video is pretty plain. It is a relatively long time those guys are just standing there hands up. No one made any sudden move. No one reached to his waistband. They were just standing there and then got shot down. This was target practice, nothing more.
The more government there is the more corruption there is and must be.

Don't "feel", think it through, you're doing well so far.
The pendulum always swings back in the other direction, not necessarily before complete collapse, though.
Dwell on the few good things.
They are trained to do this. Not saying I agree with it, but they are trained to shoot until the perp hits the ground. The reasoning is if you shoot them once, they can still reach for a gun and shoot back so you basically keep shooting until the person stops moving. That's why you hear of cases where cops unload 50+ bullets into someone. It's easy to get to that bullet count when half a dozen cops are shooting at once until the person hits the ground.
What makes this all so damning is that the police shot the victims of the crime they were investigating.
What a message that sends!
