The nuclear proliferation agreement struck between Iran and Western powers “is a deal that is going to make Neville Chamberlain’s Munich Pact with Hitler seem trivial by comparison,” actor, author and former White House speechwriter Ben Stein said Monday on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show.”
Chamberlain was the British prime minister who in 1938 made a deal conceding portions of Czechoslovakia to Adolf Hitler's Germany. Hitler claimed the region and went on to invade Poland. World War II broke out within a year.
“This is a deal which basically paves the way for Iran to become a nuclear power that can threaten the whole rest of the world with ballistic missiles, that has already pledged to annihilate Israel, that has pledged, within its ability to do so, to annihilate the U.S.,” Stein said Monday, a day before an announcement of the Iran deal.
“The idea that we are signing a pact with a country which is proclaiming death to Israel, death to the U.S., we’re signing a pact that basically allows them to get nuclear weapons and to get the means to delivery is simply astonishing.”

But Chamberlain’s pact, If I’m not mistaken, was more the result of naivete, as opposed to Obama’s deliberate efforts to sabotage our security.
Chamberlain was loyal to UK and pretty much had to give in to the nazis due to the uk’s weakness.
Nowadays we have enemy agents and traitors deliberately selling USA and Europe out to the islamonazis — it’s different. And far more dangerous giving the enemy the nuclear missiles Germany never quite got in ww2
The “Iran Deal” is just a euphemism for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
And Congress will do.................................................................. nothing.

It had more to do with Britain’s military weakness. Chamberlain felt he needed more time to rebuild Britain’s military strength after years of neglect by his predecessors, and when he came home after the Munich agreement worked to bolster Britain’s defences and prepare industry for mass production of armaments. He also introduced peacetime conscription in April 1939 for the first time in British history. He knew war was probably coming, he just knew that Britain wasn’t ready for it at the time. Britain was in a better (though as it turns out, not quite good enough) position to declare war in September 1939 when the Nazis invaded Poland.

During that time Churchill was treated as a pariah, shouted down/heckled at universities when he tried to give speeches, and mostly ignored in Parliament and by the people in power at the time. Chamberlain was one of those people.

What was written about the pact with Israel?
I am in the midst of an email debate with a liberal friend of mine. Here is what he wrote:
“In other news, how about a deal with Iran! So, tell me what’s wrong with it. If the only people objecting to it are the GOP (which, after all, are the opposition party) and the Israelis, I would support the agreement almost on principal. (I’ve heard the WH is expecting pro-Israeli Dems to be opposed to it too.) The GOP only argues against it because it’s Obama. The Israelis only argue against it because it involves something other than blowing every Arab and Muslim off the face of the Earth. I admit a lot can go wrong with this deal, of course. Iran doesn’t have the best track record. But a lot could go right with it, too.”

He would have done well by saying the PROCESS ensured we get screwed.
Not a bunch of "I could have done it better".
I still have a problem on this and I have been a vocal advocate for him.
And chamberlain included Churchill in his war cabinet - and then when Churchill became prime minister he included chamberlain in his war cabinet as Lord President of the Council where Neville ran the group in churchill’s absence. A mixed and famously unfortunate history but chamberlain’s citizenship and loyalty to UK was not a matter of serious question. ( later Churchill critiqued chamberlain for, as you said, having been one of those who failed to, or who were opposed to, preparing for the war ).
Things got to change. What will we do when the planes full of radioactve children—the one million survivors of what was once Isreal—start to come in. Image when a “Terrorist” group we have never heard from —blows up New York? * million Americans vaporized in a second. What will we do? Mark my words—we will need to take on Iran someday in the future.
Everybody puts almost the entire blame on Chamberlain for not taking the Nazis seriously and the Munich debacle. But to be fair there were many others including the two PMs before Chamberlain, Ramsey McDonald and Stanley Baldwin, who pretty much ignored Churchill’s warnings.
