I think you’re attempting sarcasm here but the fact that we are intentionally keeping the border open to facilitate drug smuggling and you can go all the way back to Clinton and his “Rite Rail” operation where tanker railcars filled with cocaine were taken into the US without inspection ,,, Trump may be many things but I’ve never seen him associated with drug money.

For Donald Trump to go the way of John Kennedy, Jr., or Ron Brown would be the creation of an instant martyr. You cannot credibly blame pilot error or obscure it in a remote country. Presumably Trump takes the sort of precautions that would shield him against the “lone nut” of the Hinckley/Bremer/Sirhan type. It may be some other means, as happened with Ross Perot in 1992, when he temporarily dropped out of the Presidential race just as he was coming close to Bill Clinton and the elder Bush in the polls. Perot cited threats against his family as the reason.

Bill Bennett once said he would not run for President because, in his words, he had lived a full life. We are dealing with a man who has been through two divorces and who knows what else. There may be some skeletons that would receive weeks of 24-7 coverage in the MSM and the entertainment media.

I didn’t mean Trump was involved in the drug cartels. No, it wasn’t sarcasm. Nobody seems to even want to talk about the border, or Mexican govt, such an obvious problem as immigration. I think the cartels may be paying off the politicians.

I was agreeing with you and was merely stating the obvious , our politicians are directly or indirectly benefiting from either drug importation (Clinton .. “rite rail” and the Mena airport) , Reagan thru Bush1/cia (funding the Contras) , and that Trump was clear of that entanglement. Obama is hip deep in assisting the drug runners.
