isconsin Gov. Scott Walker announced Monday morning on Twitter that he is running for the Republican nomination for president, saying, Im in. Im running for president because Americans deserve a leader who will fight and win for them.
Walker will give a speech kicking off his campaign Monday evening in Waukesha, Wis., becoming one of seven current or former Republican governors to enter the 2016 race and the only one to survive a recall election in his own state.

Does anyone know why he waited so long to announce?

His bald spot bothers me. LOL

I’m not a fan of his recent campaign hires, nor his continued mentioning of Rubio as a VP. Both are bad signs.

If you had been following the campaign you’d know that he vowed from the very beginning that no announcement would come until he’d gotten the budget written and signed. He did so yesterday.

His bald spot bothers me. LOLThen he should be using that Ron Popeil spray on paint stuff that covers it up or makes it look smaller

He might have been waiting as he got his ducks in a row, plus he’s been up to his Shiite and lawsuits.
Walker definitely has the stomach for a fight which is to be admired. Cruz has a superior intellect and is an honorable man. Trump has the media savvy and is the firebrand. Any combination of those three would have to be a good thing.
But even if we had a decent president, the problem is the Republican legislators are no good for the most part. And the leadership is wicked.

That’s why we don’t need a mealy-mouthed President who won’t push back at the corrupt Congress critters.

At one point, I was gung ho for Walker, but, now, he just kind of leaves me cold. His wife and sons being for gay marriage just doesn’t go over too well with me. Don’t ever think a woman can’t pressure a man to change his mind on things. I think he’s squishy on immigration too. So, I’m just not on the Walker wagon .

So true. Unfortunately whoever tries to fight Congress is fighting all the money they’re getting from lobbyists, those rotten crooks. Republican or Democrat they’re all on the take. We need term limits.

I’m sure it was a strategic fund raising move....there’s a lot of flexibility as an exploratory candidate that you lose as an official candidate.
And BTW, why others cannot see the wisdom in running against unions....is beyond me.

WALKER HAS FLIP FLOPPED LATELY LIKE ROMNEY, I DON’T KNOW WHO TO BELIEVE, SCOTT FOR AMNESTY, OR WALKER AGAINST AMNESTY?
Lets finally nail down his positions so we can see if we could support him.
I don’t want Jeb lite.

I was wondering when his wife was going to announce.
To: TangledUpInBlue
He should have taken on the ethanol lobby and illegal immigration the way he took on the unions.
To: TangledUpInBlue
He was still working the final session and passing the budget. His job is not like others where he can trapes across the country not doing the job like others who haven’t been to work since January except for an occasional vote.
