Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) is putting the blame for Congress's failure to move immigration reform squarely on the shoulders of President Obama.
The House Speaker said he's been pushing immigration reform since he took the gavel four years ago, but the president has "poisoned the well" with his executive actions on the issue. "He's stirred up the American people in such a way that it would almost be impossible to do immigration reform, given the environment that we're dealing with," Boehner said on CBS's "Face the Nation" program, which aired Sunday morning.
"I want to do immigration reform and the president knows it. I asked the president about a year ago, gave him some ideas about things that should happen if he wanted to do immigration reform, and some things that he shouldn't do," he added. "Well, the president didn't take my advice. And he doubled down on the executive orders that, frankly, far exceeded his authority, and the courts have got him stopped.
"He's really poisoned the well."
The immigration issue has been a perilous one for Boehner and House GOP leaders, caught between national Republican leaders who want to move legislation to make gains with Hispanic voters and conservatives in their conference who are opposed to any steps to legalize the 11 million undocumented immigrants estimated to live in the country.
National GOP leaders have long-warned that a failure to act could solidify the Hispanic vote for Democrats and threaten the Republicans' chances in 2016 –– a fear heightened by Obama's 2012 victory, when roughly 70 percent of Hispanic voters chose the president over Republican candidate Mitt Romney.

Provide onetime healthcare for illegals, then deport immediately. Cut off international aid for nations who abuse our immigration system. Tax outgoing wire transfers by illegals 50%.

Boehner it’s a simpering fool. He’s been in bed with Obama and now he’s pretending that he is willing to stand up to him. He and McConnell do not care about our country. They completely ignored what the voters try to communicate during the last election cycle. These men are evils. They only care about enriching themselves.

Boehner’s “immigration reform” is at least criminal amnesty for those accused of illegal entry and nothing more.
They were planning to pass Rubberio’s Gang bill last summer. Our taking Cantor out threw a monkey wrench in that plan.

Boehner and most of the GOP ‘majority’ in both the House and Senate, are as effective an opponent to Obama as are the Washington Generals to the Harlem Globetrotters. I don’t see much difference, other than that the basketball game is entertaining, rather than infuriating and destructive to the country.
So take action. If Obama vetoes, its on him.
Who would believe they would enforce any new laws when they refuse to enforce current ones?
What will they do if the illegal aliens ignore the new laws like they ignore our current laws?

Boner is suck an idiot - Immigration/Amnesty was never the hot button issue on the conservative side going into the 2014 elections and he knows that. The GOP never campaigned on amnesty as the issue that swept the right into the senate, the issue that was campaigned on was Obamacare and putting a check on Obama’s lawlessness, but the GOPe has done diddly squat on that. Instead they want to be the CoC’s slaves and legalize cheap labor.

2) Lower Corporate tax rates and increase Corporate subsidies while increasing tax rates for the middle class to fund government
3) Expand welfare,subsidies,and benefits for the underclass to keep them passive
4) Expand welfare,subsidies,and benefits for illegal aliens to continue to make them cost effective for big business
5) Increase the minimum wage to allow government workers and favored unions to receive wage increases tied to the minimum wage while turning a blind eye to private employers hiring illegal aliens under the table since such wages for entry level jobs are unaffordable for most small business owners.
6) Increase visas for lower wage workers as well as opening the borders to illegals to adjust wage conditions to acceptable rates.Once American workers start to feel the pinch they'll start working for the correct wages in the new economy.
7) Work together with Democrats on common objectives.
8) Drive Christians,Patriots,Conservatives and other undesirable Tea Party types from the political process using the media,tax code,lawfare, education,and social conditioning to eliminate these obstructionist from interfering with readjusting the U.S. to a more rational business and governing model.
9) Reform the education system to produce compliant workers able to produce more for less yet not question their superiors in either government or employment.
10)Eliminate private vehicles so travel can be monitored and controlled. Just say we're helping the environment and cutting green house emissions.
11) Eliminate private housing so people can be warehoused together and more closely monitored and controlled. Just say it's to increase open spaces for a greener earth.
12) Work with the Left and advance the alliance of Big Government and Big Business for the benefit of both sets of elites.
This is your real GOP agenda.
