Here’s the theme song from another show from that approximate era. I enjoyed the show even as a kid.

I’ve caught a few eps of the show on MeTV or one of those other retro channels. Not bad at all, really. It’s not quite Have Gun - Will Travel, IMHO (Richard Boone was the man!), but a very good show.
Mrs. JohnnyP bought the Palladin series, and the Hop A Long Cassidy series.
Guess what. Hoppy didn’t mind drawing first and taking out the bad guys. Palladin was wimpy. Touchy-feely.
I was surprised.
They did try to make Paladin a thinker more than a simple gunslinger. I do recall that. Of course watching one of the old shows a few months back, helped.
is it still permitted to have Confederates on TV?
Heh, good point. It used to be on MeTV on Saturdays, but I haven’t watched in a while.
Makes me wonder if Sci-Fi channel and other stations that run The Twilight Zone are going to pull the ep “Silent Valley”? That one paints a Confederate soldier in a sympathetic light. (Great episode, btw!)
Only if they write an autobiography entitled "God Ted Kennedy Is My Co-Pilot"...
