During a July 9 discussion on a spending bill, Democrat members of the House—led by House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)—began pushing a vote to ban all "Confederate symbols from the Capitol." This was a continuation of a push that began Tuesday, wherein Democrats sought to ban Confederate flags from all federal cemeteries.
On Thursday, Pelosi supported such bans as necessary, saying it "is about our morals."
According to Politico, on Tuesday, Democrats not only pushed to ban the flag from federal cemeteries, but also “to stop the U.S. Park Service from doing business with enterprises that sell the flags.” Rep. Jared Huffman (D-CA)said, “This House now has an opportunity to add its voice to end the promotion of the cruel, racist legacy of the Confederacy.”

This is the problem. You lived in VA for 40 years and never bothered to learn or understand the history of VA or the South. Or is it you just didn't give a damn because you had your Yankee superiority to fall back on - until now. Welcome to party - I guess.
I have immersed myself in the history of Virginia since arriving. I probably have visited more historic sites than most native Virginians and read more about the history than most native Virginians.
I just never had a flag before now.
Now I will have more flags than most native Virginians.

It’s about morals? How about we ban the Democrap party if we are talking about morals? The Democrap party which is responsible for Jim Crow laws, the KKK, not to mention the fact that they had a KKK recruiter by the name of Robert Byrd still serving in Congress as late as 2010? That’s right, only FIVE YEARS AGO they still had a KKK member in their party. Oh yes, and lets not forget how Democrats refused to support the Civil rights act of 1964 by holding a filibuster with Mr.Byrd. Funny how people like Pelosi choose to ignore all that as well as black people who choose to ignore all that every election cycle. But a piece of cloth that merely symbolizes Southern pride today “offends” them.

Not to mention her town gives sanctuary to foreign criminal invaders which resulted in the murder of a US citizen last week. Remember Pelosi last year visiting the foreign criminal invaders at the border inviting them to San Fran? I wonder if the killer was in that group. Good going looking after your constituents Nancy. We don’t have enough killers here so lets import them.
