South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham said Friday that real estate mogul Donald Trump’s rhetoric on immigration is “going to kill” the Republican Party and its chances of winning back the White House in 2016.
Appearing on CNN’s “At This Hour” with hosts John Berman and Kate Bolduan, Graham argued that Trump’s comments on Mexican illegal immigrants is “going to destroy” the GOP’s chances of winning in 2016, adding further that the party “needs to be clear about how we handle this.”

If your party is so weak that a single candidate speaking the truth about a single issue punctures the lies you tell that you think are the only thing that can get you elected, then you deserve to lose.

I un registered last year from that party -> and I can’t believe I didn’t do it sooner. This is totally, absolutely loser pitiful. What a spineless group of insincere a-holes. The founding fathers and revolutionary fighters would have shot at them first, followed by the Brits.
Never has this country been in the hands of one party that is more evil and worshipped by a more ignorant constituency, and a second party that is as spineless and stupid as this group of entrenched Republicans.
Would be far better to do away with the Republican party and have the Cruz’s et al start something fresh. What we have isn’t worth saving, is too entrenched, better to go down honest and fighting than poisoning ourselves via half measures, compromise, lies and retreat.
As a life long Republican (except for a bit of craziness as a young man—we all make mistakes), I welcome the destruction of Lindsey Graham’s Republican Party. It doesn’t represent me and hasn’t since probably the Reagan years.
I don’t care if some people think Trump is a stealth liberal. How is he any worse than what we’ve had to endure for 8 years, and I’m not just talking about President Obama?
However, I gladly pledge to send $100 to the Lindsey Graham campaign as soon as he resigns his senate seat in order to concentrate on his run. I’m sure many FReepers would pledge to do the same. Resign Lindsey! Prove your presidential “campaign” isn’t just some sad, sick joke.
