EAST ORANGE — A political battle is raging long past Election Day.
Surveillance video has surfaced of an apparent physical fight between an Essex County political leader and a poll worker at a polling location in East Orange on primary day, June 2.
According to a CBS News report, LeRoy Jones, the head of the Essex County Democratic Committee, is seen in the video throwing several punches at 74-year-old poll worker Bill Graves. According to the report, Graves is legally blind.

This isn’t the 1st time him along with his family been involved in a violent incident. He assaulted a police officer, his son kicked/punched a police officer, his other son kicked the back window out of a police vehicle. Yet nothing happened to them and they tried to sue the officers that was on scene at the time.

@essexcountypolitics @Shadow374 Yes they were and the family was taken to headquarters as if they was in VIP & hung out in the Chiefs office. They was released later without any bail and it was a joke to them. Not so far after a lawsuit appeared and they claimed to be the victims and certain paperwork from that night seemed to have vanished until the judge noticed it when he wondered how they was claiming to be victims.
