The establishment and media can avert their eyes all they want, but the issue Trump is riding concerns illegal aliens, and many, many people very much concur with what he is saying.
That’s one issue, and it reverberates with many people. But there are lots of issues he’s going to have to address, if he’s going to be a real candidate and not just a ‘stalking horse’.
My point is that his current popularity comes largely from his straight talk. That’s very attractive to intelligent people who are sick and tired of being fed a load of ‘Bravo Sierra’ from most of the pols.
You are right. My son and my parents all love what Trump is saying and like his attitude. They like what he is doing. I was struck by the similarities in what they say about Trump despite a 50 year difference in age.
