According to the live feed, the ME hasn't even arrived yet to ID the bodies, but the home is in what appears to be an HOA type neighborhood. Five kids are being interviewed, all names and details are being withheld.

Sounds like shots from right outside front door, broke glass, killed anyone in hallway and at door. Evil.
Wonder what that was all about? Needed 4-5 guys to get the job done? Looks like a pretty big story is behind all of this.
Local affiliate outside home at this hour, syaing the usual: quiet neighborhood, neighbors are shocked, no one knows, horrible crime, etc...
Either homeowner pissed of gang, or gang thought homeowner had valuables in the house.
People, if you keep gold or other valuables in the house, be very sure to TELL NOBODY, especially your kids. Kids talk and brag.
are Confederate battle flags been told to come down in this case too?
Thank goodness the kids weren’t hurt. That being said, I can only imagine some of the older ones will be scarred psychologically for life. Can you imagine as a child.. seeing 4 or five masked men come in and kill your Mommy and Daddy? Prayers for the little ones.. breaks my heart.
Where did the 4 to 5 perps reference come from ??
The article mentions that one of the kids “may” have seen 4 to 5 masked men enter the home. I guess it is from witness testimony from the kids aged 1 to 11.
Reading the story.
Street is easy access, on a wide, high-traffic thoroughfare across the street from an elementary school. Glass doors allow easy shooting of homeowner when he comes to answer the door. Homeowner should have realized he was a target of convenience and removed those doors. I’ve never understood the reasoning of having a glass front door.
I would think that standing to one side of a wooden/steel door would be prudent as well when asking "Who's there?" BEFORE opening the door. No getting a shot center mass or looking through the peephole and getting a 9MM in the eye. Luckily, we don't get many door knockers (rural) and my neighbors know to announce themselves, as I do.
I might even have momma guarding the back door with the 12 gauge. (She's small, but can be mean. :-) )
Of course this doesn’t happen out in the country. In FL we can shoot on our properties so long as the round doesn’t cross a road -HOA rules notwithstanding. It’s advised to have the round terminate within the property to avoid civil and criminal liability.
Translation: Police are pretty certain the home invaders were out to kill the homeowners because drugs and drug money were involved.
I have a $5 bill that says you’re right...
That looks interesting but I don't have a mobile device.
