Driven out by whistleblowers, Acting Inspector General of the Veterans Administration Richard Griffin finally resigned last week. Good riddance.
Griffin had whitewashed and concealed information about inadequate care and phony waiting lists and tried to retaliate against truth-tellers.
But dont expect real improvement at the VA. Griffins successor is another bureaucratic lifer, Lin Halliday. Shes been collecting a paycheck from the VA Inspector Generals Office since 1992, while the deadly problems festered. President Obama seems to like that approach.
On July 2 in Wisconsin, whistleblower Ryan Honl a Gulf War veteran urged Obama to appoint an independent inspector general: If they just pick someone new from inside the agency, it will be business as usual and the problems will continue. But Obama brushed him off, saying VA Secretary Robert McDonald had it covered.
Sorry. Thats just not true.

The clown in the Rainbow House spitting once more on vets. Disgraceful!
Richard Griffin, another complete unknown in Obama’s Czar Club.
As if he ever g.a.s. about veterans or the military.
Replace one bureaucratic moron with another.
The story of government.
The entire Executive Branch is salted with do nothings..
if not actual traitors..
When will Griffin be criminally charged and then begin to serve his time in prison.
I will say it. Obama HATES our military and our vets. He cares nothing for them. Until the last patriot volunteer is drummed out in favor of gay transgendered political hacks the US military is contemptible to Obama. He went out of his way to direct his DOJ to label veterans as potential terrorists. He doesn’t care about the horrid treatment in the VA hospitals. Any new changes in the VA will be like shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic and removing the clocks from the Post Office when people complained about the slow service.
That's okay. They can read about it in the newspapers instead.
