Time to say “Hell No, We Won’t Go!]
Watch them.
doesn’t go far enough
“The order bars the state from acting against any individual clergy or religious leader who declines to participate in a same-sex ceremony, or any religious group that declines to provide services for or recognize a same-sex marriage if it conflicts with their faith or moral conviction. “
the order needs to actually stop any private lawsuits within state courts against religious entities. keep it at the fed level and maybe reimburse the defendants or actually provide a defense for all lawsuits at fed level
Strange that states have no rights on this but they can defy US dope selling/smoking laws and have sanctuary cities against US laws.
It’s astonishing, tragic, and sickening that governor after governor has recognized that the Supreme Court’s decision on gay marriage can be nullified.
Why?
Because in 42 years, NO governor has ever realized that he does not have to obey the Supreme Court’s command to deny the unborn the protection of the law.
In 42 years, NO Catholic bishop has instructed the governors that the Supreme Court’s command to deny the protection of the law to the unborn MUST be disobeyed, and that it is a mortal sin to obey it.
Instead of doing their job—teaching—the bishops have hired political consultants, lawyers, advertising agencies, etc.
Gay rights groups immediately condemned the executive order. In a statement, Sarah Warbelow, legal director for the Human Rights Campaign, said the order both feeds false rumors that clergy will ultimately be forced to officiate same-sex marriages
Tell that to the Christian cake baker and Christian florist
Now if only the governors would demand the prosecution of leftists as traitors.
Last night, while crawling through cyberspace, I saw a mention that the City Of Noo Yawk was drafting an ordinance stating that all those who do not support the homosexuality laws will be asked to leave the city.
The date referred to was late 2014, and I have been searching for it - but Google keeps redirecting me to homo-pride websites.
If anyone has heard such a reference, I woudl dearly like to see a site or link or page.
What about religious individuals or religious company owners.
