OK, but what good are guns with bullets chronically in short supply?

Only thing in short supply is .22LR. Ammo and components are plentiful, until the next panic.

.45 ACP, 9mm, .380, .357, .38 Special seem to be easy to find. Stocked up on .22 LR way back when and, like a fool, took it all on a boating trip.
