The problem is that ESPN is buying up more and more events and limiting viewing to only those who view through ESPN.

For example, there is limited viewing of this year's British Open unless you have direct access to ESPN.

Also, if you have cable or dish and one of the channels "you didn't pay for" is ESPN, well they are getting some of your money.

I, too, watch it very little. They've helped create not only the hip-hop culture, but have brought the hip-hop thuggery to the NBA and the NFL.
