SHOCK: ARIZONA PAPER DECRIES BORDER FENCE AS TOO HIGH FOR MEXICANS TO SAFELY JUMP
Breitbart ^ | 07/05/2015 | Brandon Darby

Posted on 07/06/2015 9:48:48 AM PDT by BuckeyeTexan

A mainstream Arizona newspaper is decrying the small section of the Arizona-Mexico border that has a 14-foot-high primary fence because it is too high for illegal immigrants to safely cross. The article, “Border Fence Jumpers Breaking Bones,” includes the claim that sections of the border with a 14-foot-high fence are “as tall as a two or three-story house” and tells the stories of several women who broke bones and were treated extensively to healthcare and surgeries at the expense of U.S. taxpayers. The writer never mentions any lives directly lost as a result of there notbeing a border fence in most sections, such as when Mexican nationals crossed into the U.S. and murdered father and husband Robert Rosas, a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

why isn’t this illegal being treated like that shooter in the black church? There’s a few networks talking about this, very few. Do you think zero will go to her funeral?

Illegal immigration enforcement has gone from absurd to insane.

The obvious solution is to build the fence even higher.

The last time I suggested an electrified fence, several Liberals with FR sign ins had a liberal fit. I expect a similar bleating as that idea grows in popularity.

If they are hurt jumping the fence, wrap them in bubble wrap, mount them in a giant slingshot and fire them in the direction of the nearest Mexican hospital!

They probably think bullets should be made out of “nerf,” too. Otherwise, you know, someone might get hurt.

We have vultures and coyotes. Evidence isn’t an issue.

This is the kind of stinkin’ thinkin’ that needs to be reigned in.

Absolutely absurd.

That might slow them down some more, but they want in badly enough to go over, under, and around. A fence is not enough.

Claymores would make it safer.

And sharks.

And spikes.

And hellfires.

How do we contend with this crap when it actually passes for reality with most people?

I’ve always advocated putting our nuclear waste alongside that fence. Solves a bunch of problems.

But it’s a whole lot better than no fence at all....it does keep out those who want an easy entrance.

Logic is sorely missing in the press.

The whole POINT is to make it too high!

If it was up to me I'd have a lot more than a fence, I'd have a moat with alligators, a field with land mines, and everything else I could think of. That should keep them safe because then only the craziest of the crazy would be foolish enough to cross.

Seriously though the only thing that's gonna keep them out is if we start prosecuting those who hire them with criminal charges and eliminate the possibilty of them getting work removing all incentive for them to come in the first place. Because even if you manage to make an impregnable barrior on land they will just resort to coming by boats.

There is only one possible solution to this problem: Elevators on both sides of the fence, with platforms and safety rails on the top.

That way, border-fence jumpers won’t have any more injuries.

If I were building the fence, it would be 20 foot high with razor wire on top, a minefield behind (with appropriate signage) and another 20 foot fence with razor wire behind the minefield (with appropriate signage).

I'd be interested to see the engineering on how you would manage that in the middle of a river.

More power to you if you can swing it, but to ignore that fact is indicative of either ignorance or over-simplification.

Boots on the ground with orders to shoot on sight is also better than no fence.
