A mainstream Arizona newspaper is decrying the small section of the Arizona-Mexico border that has a 14-foot-high primary fence because it is too high for illegal immigrants to safely cross. The article, Border Fence Jumpers Breaking Bones, includes the claim that sections of the border with a 14-foot-high fence are as tall as a two or three-story house and tells the stories of several women who broke bones and were treated extensively to healthcare and surgeries at the expense of U.S. taxpayers. The writer never mentions any lives directly lost as a result of there notbeing a border fence in most sections, such as when Mexican nationals crossed into the U.S. and murdered father and husband Robert Rosas, a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

I’ve read that they jail illegals in Mexico. Meaning those that enter their country illegally.
Looking at it isn't, as far as I know, the issue.
Cattle and sheep and goats and crops via irrigation is the issue.
Surely the tech exists. Love to see it. Let's look at some plans.
But there aren't any. And cheerleading for "fence!" hasn't produced any.
I believe that most people that are vehemently opposed are in fact pro illegal.
Many may be, I can't deny it.
But some.. you gotta admit.. oppose the blanket fence because no plans exist to accommodate river usage.
There are thousands of off the shelf irrigation plans that can be cut and pasted into a fence scenario. South of Parker AZ on the Cali side there is a number of irrigation/diversion projects running many miles inland that serve exactly that purpose. The whole area is farmland in the middle of the Mohave desert irrigated by the Colorado. Texas would be easier by far since you don’t have to deal with digging desert concrete for culverts or the evaporation of 130 deg temps for months at a time.
What the problem IMO is in that regard is that most arguements never get that far. Not the online kind, the government kind.
All of this stuff can be seen via google maps/photos and Wiki. It’s all generally available.
Outcome?
Indeed, I concede all of that.
Hollering “fence!” and promoting ONLY fencing denies all of it, though.
“Build The Fence!” only applies to 40% of the problem.
Give that critter in the middle of the river a name and a
plan and holler for THAT too..
“Barrier” might be a better term.
Because gifting the river to Mexico is a bridge too far.
What’s the story behind that photo?
A rose by any other name...
I’ll concede that some areas can be far more easily dealt with by actual humans posted at intervals or mil-tech. Hell thoat could BE the fence/barrier. But that results in one very large problem.
Democrats.
If we put a physical anything between us and Mexico, it then becomes damn hard for the Democrats to convince Americans that the 6 billion Dollar (human) Dam should be scrapped like Steve Austin, man barely alive, once it’s in place. But it’s easy for them to simply turn of the tech or reassign troops/BP/ICE to let the flood continue whenever they get power.
If it wasn’t for that, I’d be totally on board with a hi-tech option. But ‘that’ is a very real issue that won’t ever go away. Whenever a lib gets power we would have to deal with it. And we see today what the result of that is.
Yep. True story.
If we put a physical anything between us and Mexico, it then becomes damn hard for the Democrats to convince Americans that the 6 billion Dollar (human) Dam should be scrapped like Steve Austin, man barely alive, once its in place.
I agree.
Harder to stand-down the physical barrier than any other kind, too.
If it wasnt for that, Id be totally on board with a hi-tech option.
Yep. But we agree that one size simplification does not fit all.
And don't discount the Bionic Woman or Max-a-Million, the bionic dog.
The dog would solve the problem. In fact a few thousand dogs and a one wire Walmart dog fence would solve the problem.
Of course Dems and PETA would be offended...
DARPA has it about whooped...
You guys are clearly racist.
There should be, at most, a 5’ fence with a sign on our side that says, “Welcome to America” and a nice, Air Conditioned waiting room. The room should have plenty of taco fixings and ice-cold Coca Cola.
Then there should be a 30’ fence after that topped with razor wire.
Saw that. Impressive stuff. But same problem. Until it gets human AI and rights, the Dems will just hit the off switch or reprogram it to ignore illegals.Once it gets Human AI they will propagandize it into attacking conservatives just like they do with all minorities.
Oh the humanity! Anyone not wishing to fall from a high fence need not climb it in the first place.
we may need a ramp on the south side, because much more of the media/Obama/MSM/supreme court/EPA/jade helm/gorebull warming, etc. I may want the hell out of this bull shit. My replacement hip may not handle the fall.
I paid for the hip by way.
Bastards
Give out the editor’s and publisher’s addresses and tell all the illegals they can come and stay with them.
"No way....No way...Too high..Too high!"
