I’ll concede that some areas can be far more easily dealt with by actual humans posted at intervals or mil-tech.

Yep. True story.

If we put a physical anything between us and Mexico, it then becomes damn hard for the Democrats to convince Americans that the 6 billion Dollar (human) Dam should be scrapped like Steve Austin, man barely alive, once it’s in place.

I agree.
Harder to stand-down the physical barrier than any other kind, too.

If it wasn’t for that, I’d be totally on board with a hi-tech option.

Yep. But we agree that one size simplification does not fit all.

And don't discount the Bionic Woman or Max-a-Million, the bionic dog.

The dog would solve the problem. In fact a few thousand dogs and a one wire Walmart dog fence would solve the problem.

Of course Dems and PETA would be offended...

Norm and I have had that same conversation a few times.

‘ceptin’ he gets mad as a wet hen when I disrespect his San Diego triple fence.

Ain’t never seen him concede that boots on the ground might be an easier solution in some places.

It’s progress. I’ll take it.
