This doesn’t say enough about the program or the lawsuit to answer all questions one might have about it, but in general I’d think any spiritual growth program, whether it’s Jewish or Zen Buddhist or Christian or Flying Spaghetti Monster or whatever, “ought” to be out of reach of any “ban on therapy.” By the very virtue of the free exercise of religion afforded in the 1st Amendment.
Whether it actually WILL be, is another question. The devil is a master of confusing people over the meaning of words.
