He is not cocky. In fact, he is often self-deprecating.
But he is also just that much smarter than these LSM tools that they feel small. To protect their over-blown egos, they take that as cockiness.
I won’t give NBC a hit, so I did not watch the video. Still, this is trivially easy to see.

I thought he said “snot” instead of “snob”...but I might be wrong.

Chuck Todd is a very slimy individual. He is not conducting an interview, more like an inquisition. He would never treat a Democrat this way.

To a leftist, “cocky” means he actually uses facts.
To: RoosterRedux
Maybe so Rooster. I will listen to it again and see.
To: RoosterRedux
Yep. At 8:55 in the audio he does say “snot” instead of “snob.” You were right, Rooster.
To: RoosterRedux
That’s what I heard, too. Enjoyed the interview.

He’s supposed to be cocky. He’s supposed to have more going for him than the average Joe.
What do they want, another Jimmah Carter or Lamar Alexandar? We don’t need a pretentious wet noodle for president.
We need someone who knows who he is and knows where he needs to take the country.
An attack on Cruz’s alleged ego is a straw-man diversion when they have nothing else.

I watched the interview...I thought it was excellent, and I don’t think the interviewer was unfair at all.
The interviewer talked about what Cruz himself wrote about in his book, and basically asked him to elaborate.
Cruz was outstanding, as always.

I watched the interview...I thought it was excellent, and I dont think the interviewer was unfair at all.You will only realize the interviewer was unfair when you look at the softball questions the same interviewer would have/does give the democrats.
