Trump calls out Rubio for being ‘weak’ on immigration, praises Cruz

Donald Trump said fellow Republican presidential nominee Marco Rubio is “weak” on immigration, as the real estate mogul on Saturday continued to defend his controversial remarks on the subject in an interview on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends.”

“There’s tremendous crime and illegal immigration is just incredible. As far as Rubio, he’s very weak on immigration,” he said in the phone interview. “You know, I have great relations with Mexico and I love the Mexican people, and the spirit of the Mexican people. These are people just pouring across the border.”

In the past, Rubio, a Cuban-American, has said he supports a pathway to citizenship for the 10 million undocumented immigrants, but said only if the border is first secured, the U.S. government addresses the growing number of undocumented immigrant workers and also limits visa overstays.

Trump said he does, however, respect one contender for his stance on immigration.

“I respect Ted Cruz for the view he’s got. He was really out there and strong on it. I shouldn’t say this because, I assume, he’s an opponent, but the fact is he was very brave in coming out,” Trump said....

You can see from what I have posted that the moment is here. If Trump is serious and as smart as I am (he should be he is a hell of a lot richer) he needs to set his sights higher than Huckabee. This is the moment to CHANGE THE BATTLEFIELD. I don’t think I can make it clearer. We will never win on that field the Rat media complex carefully designs. NOW is the moment to smash that terrain. Who the candidates will ultimately be is irrelevant. For just this one twinkling moment Trump has the attention of the LIV. Chances like these happen rarely. Washimgton’s escape from Manhattan, his victory crossing the Delaware. These are blessings of Providence and you have to be ready to receive His Grace. Now is the moment. Unfortunately, Trump is the man. I don’t think he was serious. I think he was just promoting himself but he is a DAMN West Point Grad. He should understand. Some men have greatness thrust upon them. His prior greatness has been PR and bluster. Wake the F up Donald. This is your moment.

The GOP, whoever they are, have steadily betrayed all of us by folding like wet toilet paper.

If Trump or Cruz or Fiorino can actually get nominated, we have hope that the downhill slide can be stopped.

Every other GOP Quisling will just keep all the Obama changes in place and officiate at gay weddings in the White House and add conveyors at the border.

Marco sealed his own doom in New Hampshire when he came out and admitted that he still supports amnesty. Trump is just telling the truth.

I think Trump could bring in some of the North Eastern states. Cruz will run the boards in the South, Midwest and South West. Together could be a beautiful thing!

Trump might surprise you on the issue of VP. If he is serious about saving the country for his grandkids, he might take that VP slot with a candidate he respects. He and Cruz are in agreement on the issues.

Cruz would want his VP to be a vital part of his administration. I think he would turn Trump loose on negotiating with foreign countries on trade and policy.

So here is our answer. Trump the Chump. Disruptor. Not turning the enemies flank but turning on GOP candidates.

Sorry, but the GOP-E, and their candidates, are just as much the enemy, as the Democrats.

They are the Trojan Horses, the chaff in our midst, pretending to be one of, promising to do what we want, while all the while, planning to implement the policies of our enemies by default.

Rubio might as well hang it up. He has already cooked his goose.

Rubio copulated with the canine, when he started talking “a pathway to citizenship” for the invaders.

The only way to get rid of the invaders is to cut off all the Obama-inspired programs, and funds.

For either Cruz or Trump, to run for office, they will need a vice-presidential candidate.

You know, in 2012 Newt tried to play that role, but his crappy campaign staff and his buttinski wife doomed him. Not saying he would have won, but he was as you put it changing the battlefield.

The GOPe contenders turned on Trump the minute he entered the race. Do you think he should let that slide? I wouldn't. Trump is fighting both Ds and GOPes. Rather, they are fighting him. He has sucked all the oxygen out of the room. Watch these pathetic worms squirm. It's about time someone not owned by the Lobbyists speaks up with honesty and truth about our nation and it's people. This isn't about Ds vs Rs. It's about we the people vs GOPE and DC corruption. http://rickwells.us/boehner-got-5-million-ryan-2-million-mcconnell-9-million-any-doubt-why-tpa-passed/ You go, Donald.

I suppose it’s possible, but I just can’t imagine Trump taking 2nd seat to anyone. He’s always been his own boss and likes to be in charge. If he doesn’t get the nomination, I think he’d prefer to go back to running his business empire. On the other hand, if someone like Cruz were to agree to give him some real authority regarding certain issues like trade, as you suggest, like Bush did with Cheney for example, then maybe he’d go along. I doubt it, but I guess it’s possible.

Trump just needs to continue to pound the fact that he is protecting AMERICANS and is for AMERICANS having jobs, not illegal immigrants. That’s what everyone thinks and no one will say it. They are all so busy pandering for illegal votes of non AMerican citizens.

Shape the terrain at this point. Now the enemy is the media.

Trump and Cruz agree on the issues, two different styles but they could work together easily, I believe. I hope they will play off each other in taking to task the records and positions of the other candidates, exposing those who are so clearly not conservatives. Together they could be dynamite! Everyone else would just fade into obscurity.

The GOP candidates are ganging up on him. What else is he supposed to do?

The enemy is the media right now. He needs to smash the terrain the Rat media complex has prepared for the coming 18 months.

He needs to give them a whipping that will make history. I doubt Mexicans will pay for a wall but the media will cover their shame because IT WILL SELL.
