There’s more. Perp was on some sort of Federal detain list, which SF didn’t act on cause they are a sanctuary city.

Well let’s hope that the family of this young woman has the courage to take this to the press and out SF as caring more about illegal alien criminals than the lives of its own citizens.

SF has compassion for criminal aliens but not enough compassion for the victims of these aliens to jail and deport repeat offenders

Here’s what I learned from a comment from the SF Gate:

“Update: ICE officials told the media that it released this monster to the City of San Francisco to deal with a drug charge against the perp. They specifically told the Sanctuary city to call them for a detainer when they were done. Consistent with liberal pro-criminal policy, the City released him on the street.

For all you who are saying this had NOTHING to do with SF, you are wrong again. The feds were set to pick this guy up yet again, and our leadership released him because illegal immigrants are above the law and apparently have more rights than US citizens.”

Read this:

“has seven felony convictions and has been deported five times”

” Kice said ICE issued a detainer for Sanchez in March, requesting notification of his release and that he stay in custody until immigration authorities could pick him up. The detainer was not honored, she said.

Freya Horne, counsel for the sheriff’s office, said Friday that federal detention orders are not a legal basis to hold someone, so Sanchez was released April 15. San Francisco is a sanctuary city, and local money cannot be spent to
cooperate with federal immigration law.”

“It’s not legal to hold someone on a request to detain. This is not just us. This is a widely adopted position,” Horne said.
