Weve taken some big hits recently. It appears our leaders in Washington, DC have all surrendered to the godless liberal/progressives and have decided to turn our society inside out and upside down. Congress running interference for Obama was bad enough, now we have the Supreme Court trampling on the constitution as well.
When all three branches ignore the constitution we have a serious problem. The wimps in congress have proven over and over that they dont have the will to fight and its now painfully obvious that the supremes are not willing to do their constitutional duty either.
Government has failed us. The congress is toothless. The courts have failed us. Election mandates are ignored.
So now what?
Well, luckily for us, the Founders foresaw this problem and gave we the people a constitutional tool to fight back. We the people through our sovereign state governments can elect to send delegates to an Article V convention to propose amendments to the constitution.
Also, luckily for us, as of the last election the Republicans control something like two-thirds of our state governments, so if were ever to succeed at something like this, now is the time to strike.
Article V is the constitutional reset button provided to we the people by our Founding Fathers. If you are not familiar with Article V, please read up about it on conventionofstates.com. This is not a scary constitutional convention to rewrite the entire constitution. It would be an effort led by the states to rein-in the runaway federal government and to reclaim and restore sovereign rights and powers to the states and the people. Definitely worth a try and definitely better than the final alternative.
Please take this seriously and read up on Article V at conventionofstates.com.

Make it a monthly if you can. We have some very generous FReeper sponsors kicking in an extra ten bucks for every new monthly signed up. And we have 1 new monthly so far this quarter.
Or send in a hundred dollars or more per quarter and join I_be_tcs growing list of 300 Club patriots. I_be_tc sends in $100 per quarter and challenges 300 others to do the same. And we have received 11 donations of $100 or more so far this quarter. If we could get 300 FReepers to send in $100 per quarter, these FReepathons would complete much faster.
Please get your donations in early so we can wrap this baby up within 30 days.
Thank you all very much!!
God bless.

"No one who lived through the Great Depression can ever look upon an unemployed person with anything by compassion.
To me, there is no greater tragedy than a breadwinner willing to work, with a job skill but unable to find a market for that job skill. Back in those dark depression days I saw my father on Christmas eve open what he thought was a Christmas greeting from his boss.
Instead, it was the blue slip telling him he not longer had a job.
The memory of him sitting there holding that slip of paper and then saying in a half whisper, 'Thats quite a Christmas present; it will stay with me as long as I live.''Ronald Reagan

"The Declaration of Independence was a statement adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, which announced that the thirteen American colonies, then at war with Great Britain, regarded themselves as independent states, and no longer a part of the British Empire.
John Adams put forth a resolution earlier in the year which made a formal declaration inevitable. A committee was assembled to draft the formal declaration, to be ready when congress voted on independence. Adams persuaded the committee to select Thomas Jefferson to compose the original draft of the document,[2] which congress would edit to produce the final version.
The Declaration was ultimately a formal explanation of why Congress had voted on July 2 to declare independence from Great Britain, more than a year after the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War. The Independence Day of the United States of America is celebrated on July 4, the day Congress approved the wording of the Declaration."Source: Wikipedia

"We did not seek world leadership; it was thrust upon us. It has been our destiny almost from the first moment this land was settled. If we fail to keep our rendezvous with destiny or, as John Winthrop said in 1630, 'Deal falsely with our God,' we shall be made 'a story and byword throughout the world.'

**”Let us resolve that we, the people, will build an American opportunity society in which all of us — white and black, rich and poor, young and old — will go forward together, arm in arm.
Again, let us remember that though our heritage is one of blood lines from every corner of the Earth, we are all Americans, pledged to carry on this last, best hope of man on Earth..’’
Ronald Reagan**
Amen.....bears repeating.
