Good on Ted Cruz.
He's starting to attract some good press. He could not buy a review like this if he had Trump's money.

“It is, therefore, especially disheartening that Cruz, who clerked for Chief Justice William Rehnquist and who is better equipped by education and experience to think clearly about courts, proposes curing what he considers this court’s political behavior by turning the court into a third political branch.”
Like it isn’t already, dipsh**.

LOL'ing at any author who uses the phrase "climate denialist".
the author could as well have called all of the GOP candidates "bourgeoisie" and been no less obvious about his own biases and prejudices.
of course, his repeated ad hominems against any and all GOP targets in the article had the same effect.
here's a word of advice for the little nancy boy (Charles P. Pierce) who wrote this article... never go full libtard.

It’s you, Charles, who’s the ‘nut’, not Ted Cruz.
Cruz knows full well what he’s talking about, and the Constitution, the intent of the Founders, and God are Mr. Cruz’s guide.
That’s a hard concept for someone like ‘Charlie the Tuna’ to grasp, since his brain is ruled by emotion rather than wisdom, and serious thought.
It is too bad that for years publications like Esquire and GQ are almost unbearably liberal, and not even close to being rational.

The Court has made itself into the 3rd legislative branch. Cruz wants to return it to its Constitutional role as the Judicial branch.
The author is the one who is the nut.

Charles Pierce: morbidly obese, smug, bloviator in an affected frontier hat who is a classic example of a sports columnist: a leftist who believes he is an expert on everything.
A bum's Lupica.
Picked last in gym class for every activity? Of course he was.

I would expect that someone who writes for a profession to be a whole lot better at it than this middle school-er.
