Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry on Thursday disavowed controversial remarks about immigrants from fellow Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump.
"I don't think Donald Trump's remarks reflect the Republican Party," Perry said during a speech in Washington outlining his economic plan to support poorer communities.

Wrong comment Rick.
The current GOPe (who control the House & Senate) is in a win/win situation.
If an Establishment Republican wins POTUS, they control the globalist/crony corporatist government.
If the Democrat wins, the GOPe gets things like Obamacare, and unchecked illegal and legal immigration. They also get 1/2 the federal pork, with none of the responsibility or blame.
Just maybe 20+ years of “lesser evil” is in reality PURE evil.....100% evil.
And I hope somebody steals his hat : )
LOL.
“I don’t think Donald Trump’s remarks reflect the Republican Party,...”
Well, maybe they don’t reflect the views of the Republicans you would invite to the party. WTF is wrong with the pubs, aside from acting like incompetent Democrats (if that is possible)?
Even if you're a republican worried about the negative political effect of being associated with Trump's words, by denouncing him you look like a coward to the right, and the left won't vote for you anyway.
Just don't say anything.
did he use the word “heartless” again?
Perry is starting to sound like a whiner. He has a hard time disguising his true feelings. Perry isn’t well informed, was never good at debates, and does not put national interest above his own agenda.
Another GOPe with backbone.
That may be true ... and if so, it's a damning indictment of the Republican Party. Donald Trump's remarks do, however, reflect reality. Perhaps Mr. Perry should acquaint himself with reality ...
Trump speaks the truth and the career politicians that bend with the whim of the wind, go against him. Typical gutless wonders. I liked Perry for a short while but now, no more.
Nah, all the Freepers that browbeat us over Perry and Romney and Rubio and Paul and about a zozen other leftists surely are correct and WE are the problem.
The people THEY supported, nay, DEMANDED be sent to DC SURELY cannot be the problem. Nor the people that DEMANDED them.
It’s the purists that want people to elect conservatives that are at fault for liberals getting power. NOT the actual people that gave liberals power.
“Moe Green glasses”
Get in the boat with Fredo, Rick, because you’re dead to me.
Gee, what a surprise.
lol
“Governor Spongebob.”
Remember when Perry said we needed a little rebellion and some folks whooped it up?
Rick needs to get back to trying to remember those three agencies he was gonna get rid of.
They all must be making cash on selling out Americans. A lot of cash.
Perry welcomes illegal aliens rapists and murderers into this country.
