Fifty years ago, Republicans and Democrats came together to enshrine in law the principle that all of us, regardless of race, color, or national origin, are created equal. Because of that, today America is a better, more tolerant and more welcoming place than it has ever been.
So why is it that so many black families still feel left behind? A quarter of African-Americans live below the poverty line, even with federal programs like food stamps and housing subsidies, and the supplemental poverty rate for African-Americans is nearly double the rate for other Americans.
Democrats have long had the opportunity to govern in African-American communities. But the Democrats solutions amount to little more than throwing money at the problem and walking away. And in cities where left-wing solutions have been tried over and over again like Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore and Oakland blacks are moving out to places like Dallas and Houston.
The fact is, its Republicans not Democrats who are truly offering black Americans the hope of a better life for themselves and their children.

Do Black people want a better life? They aren’t acting like it. They need to open their eyes and their minds and stop acting like third world thralls of the rat party.
I think a lot of them are. The Republicans have a lot more blacks in Washington than democrats. They also have had more presidential candidates. The black churches are calling for civil disobedience against democrats homos pseudo marriage.
And the oboma administration has no problem using them as useful idiots when a protest is needed to push his agenda. When it actually comes to getting them help in return - he's golfing.
The democrats have pretty much thrown the blacks overboard because the (illegal) immigrant vote is now more valuable. The blacks are ooooold news.
...”Republicans AND Democrats are trying to destroy black people.....One with jobs.....the other with culture”.....
That’s exactly right! I am seeing this occur even in my small city where the population of blacks are few. Yet we see foreigners coming in where the focus is on assisting them to gain employment, housing etc. over that of the blacks. Not to mention a strong effort by community leaders to integrate them into the community.
But to be fair....far too many blacks, here, are content remaining on the welfare rolls rather than take advantage of the helps offered them to improve their life beyond those rolls.
