SALT LAKE CITY (CBS/AP) – The Episcopal Church has completed its embrace of gay rights, changing church law to allow same-sex religious marriages throughout the denomination, just days after the U.S. Supreme Court legalized gay marriage nationwide.
The new policy won overwhelming approval from the top Episcopal legislative body Wednesday, following decades of debate and conflict. It came 12 years after the denomination blazed a trail by electing the first openly gay bishop.

Headline should say “Episcopalians Abandon Christianity”.
Many of our parishioners have come from the Episcopal church because of their leftist leanings.

You know, when judgment arrives, it's going to be a lot harder on preachers who lead their flock astray - especially when they do it deliberately. They'll be held responsible for all the souls they've destroyed.
Wouldn't wanna be them.

In my opinion, there is an attitude in the Episcopalian Church that thinks very highly of its “tolerance”, its high level of “education” & what have you. Oh, & of course there’s $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in the eyes of the hierarchy of the Episcopal Church & probably in most others. The Scriptures don’t seem to rate all that highly with them; with emphasis on how “misguided” St. Paul was. - My son’s an Episcopal priest, but I make no bones about how I think about that whole cononundrum. We’re Baptists; but I will say when I think they’re going wrong & will withdraw if they start “marrying” homosexuals.
“Episcopal”, is that Latin for “social club” because it isn’t a church.
It’s 1928 Book of Common Prayer was the real thing, but like Coca-Cola it has changed with the popular times.
Mrs. Ruth Graham may have been the first to use that line. We're still waiting.
Like all things once good but now infected with liberals.
