Chris Christie is running for president, he announced today at his alma mater, Livingston High School in New Jersey, becoming the 14th Republican candidate to enter the 2016 presidential race.
"America is tired of handwringing and indecisiveness and weakness in the Oval Office," the New Jersey governor said today to a cheering crowd. "We need to have strength and decision-making and authority back in the Oval office and that is why today I am proud to announce my candidacy for the Republican nomination for president of the United States of America." Standing beside him were his wife, Mary Pat, and four children. Christie touted his middle-class upbringing, willingness to "speak the truth" and make tough decisions on pension and education reforms and government spending. "I'm not running for president of the United States as a surrogate for being prom king of America," the 52 year-old Christie said. "I mean what I say and I say what I mean and that's what America needs right now."

If anyone -- besides the MSM and the 'rats -- is worrying about President Christie, don't. (The fact that Christie makes them apoplectic is definitely enjoyable!)
Like Donald Trump and unlike General Sherman, if nominated he would accept. But he is an astute politician and he can't believe he has a snowball's chance on a New Jersey beach in July. He's practicing for 2020 if Hillary wins, or 2024 if she doesn't.
He's only 52 years old (he looks much older because of the weight).
He has eons until he reaches Hillary's ripe old age!
No, this is what we need. Remember the last two elections? We had a bunch of conservatives and one RINO. Who won, only to loose the general? Why, because our vote was split and the RINO’s was not.
I plan to send him $100 just to try to keep him in and to take some votes away from the big RINO, Bush.
