I’m surprised there is a story about the Japanese balloon bombs in the paper. I thought that was censored to prevent them from knowing that they crossed the ocean successfully.

Interesting that: Once the war ended, however, and the U.S. was no longer bound by the Geneva Convention, the rations for these officers were also cut drastically and many of their special privileges ended
