For marriage-equality activists, Friday's U.S. Supreme Court decision guaranteeing marriage rights for LGBT couples was an occasion for good cheer.
But even as the pink-label Champagne flowed and the sounds of a long-sought victory throbbed inside New York's historic Stonewall Inn, their transgender brothers and sisters marched on, chanting in the sun just blocks away.
Marriage equality is all well and good, Elliott Fukui said, but it was no time to party for dozens of trans activists. Not even close, he said.
"The battle for trans rights has been neglected by the mainstream LGB movement," said Fukui, program co-ordinator for the advocacy group TransJustice.

They're all such malcontents and drama queens, aren't they? LOL.
NOOOOOO!!! Cry me a waterfall.
I am not sure it was such a win for homos. They won’t be able to use their victimhood as much. Now they can be viewed for what they are — perverts.
Seems to me that the LGB communities are full of bigots and HATERS.
Many of them are indeed perverts, but all of them are disordered.
Tell them to stick it up their a.. oh nevermind
Especially against Christians.

Necrophiles, pedophiles, beastophiles, and that wierdo screwing the old oak tree (floraphile?) are next in line.
it seems to me that all that the lgb rights movment was about breaking societies taboos and that now that they have destroyed the meaning of marriage legally those that were not gay but supported gay rights are going to look for a new social taboo to break because they want to look as if they are hip and on the edge in the area of social activism.
The "trickle down theory" is at work here. They will soon be after the tax exempt status' of religions. Bet on it. They have the bit in their teeth and in Obama's 3rd term (yes 3rd) they will be full throttle against all religions. (except maybe the Muslim one).
Some of them want that. But the ultimate purpose of the movement and the reason for the corporate and foundational money behind the movement is the destruction of civil society. They don't just want perversion to be normalized. They want everyone to conform to accept perversion as normal. Religion is the immediate target, although thoughtcrime will eventually apply to everyone. Once conformity is achieved, totalitarianism is a piece of cake.
America under totalitarianism wil not save the world (again). So radical Islam can take over if they want to, and they seem to want to.
They realize that they can't demand anything from radical Islam. They will demand accommodation from "moderate" Islam not realizing that it is just a stepping stone. "Moderate" Islam can't survive the radicals (literally). Their heads will be chopped off as the gays are tossed gaily off of tall buildings.
The purpose of attacking religion is to force deviancy (for the destruction of civil society) and conformity (for the acceptance of totalitarianism). Muslims for their part will welcome the destruction of America's military.

‘Bout says it all
my biggest problem with these groups are they want to take away our freedom of association, they also want to make it a crime to hate them. I don’t hate homosexuals or transgendered. I just think they suffer a mantel illness but because that is how I look at them most of the activists want to criminalize that view point saying it is hate speech....this is dangerous on so many levels having nothing to do with gay rights.....I think that My thoughts and motivations should be private and if what motivates me it should be between me and god.
It is impossible for anyone to know if it is hatred that motivates me unless I say it and if it is hatred that’s all right because that’s my choice unless I violate some one else it is no ones business.
Yes, they are the most self-centered people I’ve ever seen.
