I know I haven't been very active lately. Part of this is because the news is so unceasingly bad all the time that I simply must take breaks to keep from giving in to despair. But here are my thoughts on the implicit connection between two current raging headlines.
In all but outlawing the rebel flag and all things Confederate, the Left is intentionally pushing buttons and trying to create a conflict. I understand how angry FReepers are, but I have read posts by FReepers saying they will now fly the rebel flag instead of the American flag (the Charleston killer burned an American flag, btw, which is bad when "Blacks and Hispanics" do it).
Just as the rebel flag goes up in all conservative areas of the country (and the American flag goes down), comes this decision by the Supreme Court. The Left will gleefully point out that opposition to homosexual marriage is strongest in these "Confederate" strongholds and that this proves that the religious prohibition of homosexuality is a creation of "racist white Europeans," who created it for their own oppressive purposes (yadda yadda yadda). Any actual armed conflict between the two areas of the country will be declared to be a "renewal" of the Civil War, with the Union's job "not complete" until "heterosexism" is put down just as slavery was.
Now I don't hate the rebel flag. I don't see it as the emblem of everything good and true and beautiful like so many do, but I don't hate it nor do I identify it with the swastika--and this even though my own ancestors were Southern Unionist Republicans (and no one is more anti-Confederate than a Southern Unionist!).
I'm not even pretending to tell anyone what to do, but I beg you to think for just a moment and at least not use the rebel flag to replace the American flag. I believe this is just what they want to happen.
NOW--Just as all other FReepers, I am furious and disappointed with the Black church because it still refuses to recognize that these issues even exist. Instead, forever stuck in 1954, the Black church insists on being a quasi-ally of the nihilistic revolution currently ongoing all around us. And while early generations of Black liberals might have been able to plead ignorance of these other issues (which weren't even issues at the time), they cannot do so now. They cannot claim to be unaware of what their "hero" has done to this country and to simple basic G-d-commanded morality. Hence if anyone is looking to turn the Left's own tactics against them and do more than just fume and vent and develop hatred (or identify morality with European genes and chromosomes, as so many are beginning to do), then here's a nice little tactic to try:
Pairs of male "rednecks" should alert the media and pay calls on Black churches and pastors demanding to be married. Let's see what happens when one strand of the Hegelian dialectic runs smack into another.
Oh, and by the way, as part of the "thesis of history" (rather than the antithesis), you will notice that, just like moslems, Black churches and Black chrstians have been and will remain exempt from any and all penalties or revenge by homosexuals. Similarly, when we are all required to renounce our religious beliefs in order to receive Social Security or Medicaid, I do not anticipate them being asked to make that choice. Being Black is "naughty" and "rebellious" enough, apparently.
I've always wanted to see the "heels" go at it.

Lawsuits against black churches would solve nothing.
If I see someone burning a flag which THEY legally own, I will find it offensive, and I will not associate with that person, but I will not try to stop them.
The Charleston killer had his photo taken burning a small American flag. Were you aware of that?
What I am trying to find out is if what is right and wrong, what is "conservative" and what is "liberal," are objective and universal or rather depend on the ethno-culture of the actor?
Conservative white Southerners "wag[ed] war on the United States" and are patriots and heroes, while Blacks in Mississippi who want to secede are Communist traitors.
A white conservative who hates the American flag because it represents leftist tyranny is super-American, but a liberal who hates it is un-American.
Is Americanness, or conservatism, or chrstianity, the property of a certain set of genes and chromosomes? Or are there certain universal principals involved?
Why do anti-racists hate the creation narrative of Genesis? Why have so many racialists in history invoked it? That doesn't make any sense to me.
In short, if the only thing in the world we are fighting for is the subjective culture of descendants of northwest Europeans, then there is nothing worth fighting for. If we are fighting for the One True G-d and His universal laws, then we must never surrender.
But I don't suppose you even understand the points I'm trying to make.

No, I guess I don’t understand your points. In my opinion, it is because you are not doing a very good job of making them.
You asked about flag burning. I gave you my opinion. The fact that the little troglodyte who recently murdered 9 people once burned a flag does not change my opinion on flag burning - nor does it change my opinion on murder.
As to your other bizarre comments, I was unaware that any substantial number of “Black Communists” wanted to secede from the Union. I would be in favor of letting them go, just as I would be in favor of allowing communists of ANY race to leave the United States.
This country was founded on a philosophy of individual liberty and self-determination. The original union was imperfect and did not include all people in that philosophy. Corrections had to be made.
However, communism is wholly incompatible with even those original flawed ideals of individual liberty and freedom upon which the country was founded, never mind the corrected version.

Yeah, I just thought of trolling the black churches that way myself.
Heads would explode. The suing part would be icing on the cake.
On the other hand, Das BlackenwhitenFuhrer would just poop a new law out his mouth forbidding the suing of black churches over a refusal, and the Supreme Court and its fearless leader John "Geez, that video must be REALLY, REALLY bad" Roberts would rubber-stamp it.
