Yeah, but we're talking about rights and privileges here. The constitution and your rights apparently are not all created equal. Or something. "=" It'd be nice if they would rule as such where the 2nd amendment is concerned but then you would have a whole bunch of states claiming states rights issues. This is getting all so confusing. Topsy turvey world.

In a theoretical world, perhaps. Unfortunately the other side of this question is that laws you think you understand don’t actually say what they say. So yes, while it should imply that, don’t hold your breath. If it’s distasteful to whatever two-bit tyrant happens to be around, it won’t happen.

They have done no such thing. All they have said is they can make the Constitution say what they want when they want.

That means I can marry my parrot now.

In a banana republic pirate law is the only real law.

Very good point. And one that pundits would be wise to start making and then gun rights advocates need to challenge the laws in states like Maryland based on these grounds. and keep on trying until they win. Just like the gays did. But I bet no one has the same level of stamina as the gay lobby.

America is in the process of being destroyed. Next you will lose your guns. You say no way. Watch King Obama and the communists empire destroy everything and reduce you to a third world life. And they will do it with this communists left Supreme Court.

Dream on. The court is no longer interested in what the Constitution actually says.

Bob has an excellent point. Marriage is not a right. The RKBA is.

If a lessor ruling now deemed by the Court to be ordered to all states, I would presume that ANY Constitutional right must be.

You’d think so, but asking for a liberal to be logically consistent is asking for them to commit an unnatural act.

If clergy are now FORCED to perform same-sex marriages, THEN EVERY FREEPER SHOULD SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR A CONFEDERATE FLAG CAKE AT A BAKERY IN A LIBERAL TOWN then sit and wait for a lawsuit.

Well, shouldn’t any law be taken to the “least common denominator” of the the laws of all of the states, then? This gets interesting.

Hah hah hah! The author thinks this Supreme Court is going to be hemmed in by silly things like precedent and consistency? Oh, that’s a good one!

Sounds like a real promising cause to punish gun control advocates with their own tactics.

Any jury I’m on hearing a Malum Prohibitum case is gonna let the defendant walk.

You should, too.

Ah, but you are being logical. Logic is something not generally associated with the American public, which is subject to fits of hysteria and mass delusions.

Concealed?
No. Constitutional carry.
If it’s good enough for Arizona , it’s good for the nation.

Was reading the latest issue of American Rifleman and the NRA is pretty convinced that Nationwide Concealed Carry Reciprocity is inevitable and coming soon.
