Ted Cruz gave a blistering response to the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare today, calling the decision nothing more than judicial activism and the justices who voted in the majority opinion, lawless. Cruz says these justices have joined with Obama in harming the American people as they’ve appointed themselves unelected legislators – and bad ones at that.

Meaningless bluster. The Congressional majority should never pass any appropriations for the obamacare subsidies, if they had any guts.

Far more than a rant. Salient, reasoned, and quoted (Scalia) objections to judicial activism. Judges DO NOT write law in this country.

We are past the point at which a politician can say anything. The country cannot be reclaimed by empty words.

This was textbook “too big to fail”. The constitution be da**ed.

Unfortunately, our last worldly hope was the SCOTUS, and they let us down. They are no longer of legal relevance. They are utterly and totally a political orgainization, not to be trusted for any decisions that could significantly negatively impact any “powerful” entity.

Truthfully, Senator Cruz could have more power, faster, and do more good by being appointed a Supreme Court justice.

Right now, the odds of him becoming president are truthfully slim, because of the bitter opposition of the Republican leadership and the Democrats. However, as a justice of the Supreme Court, *he* would be the deciding vote, if he replaced any of the liberals.

I am hard pressed to imagine a strong conservative of his caliber to replace a second liberal justice. But there likely is one.

It’s what I’m doing. But then, I have the Christian perspective, sorely lacking in John Galt’s case.

The only way to change it is to win the elections, and appoint Robert Bork equivalents to the bench. No letting the Dems stonewall it, either. That means no Jeb Bush as well. The last nominees by the family have been disasters.

There is only one sure way left to stop all this tyrannical madness.

Decent, God fearing, patriotic Americans need to fill the streets of Washington, DC. Every government building, the homes of every Congressman, & especially the White House should be surrounded by millions of people demanding the resignations of Boehner, McConnell, Reid, Pelosi, Biden, Obama, his cabinet, & the law ignoring members of the Supreme Court.

I realize this puts us in some jeopardy from foreign threats, but our military is the only deterent to that. They can do their job without the "help" of the corruptocrats named above.

Good citizens should strictly avoid violence while refusing to leave, refusing to move, placing the government in gridlock for as long as it takes, weeks or months, if necessary. Stop the limos from rolling, every other vehicle except emergency vehicles. Stand in front of the tanks. Make government officials miserable at work & home.

For those who cannot go to WDC, they should observe a strict boycott on Liberal businesses, restrict their spending to only essentials, & take to the social media to riot on the internet. Picket the local government offices, in shifts if necessary, to get into the politicians faces & stay there. Flood their social media accounts with anger.

The Left has been getting its way using these very same tactics for decades. Massive protests work in every corner of the globe. Massive protest brought down many corrupt governments.

It's either peaceful but firm protest, violent civil war, or extremism turns the country into a perverted Zimbabwe. Take your pick.

I’m of the opinion that US senators need to go back to being appointed by their state. How about having supreme court justices be elected? I know that currently they’re appointed by the president, upon approval by the senate. Personally, I think them having to be elected would avoid the problem of, say, an Obama replacing two retiring justices with two communists.
