Bristol Palin just threw cold water on what's supposed to be a joyous occasion ... being pregnant.
Palin's in the early stages of her second out of wedlock pregnancy, and this time she's full on grumpy, saying she knows it will be "a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you."
Bristol says she's "trying to keep [my] chin up on this one."
Sarah Palin's daughter was engaged to U.S. Marine veteran Dakota Meyer, but they broke things off last month. Bristol didn't say if Dakota's the dad.
Bristol was full of piss and vinegar, saying, "I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy."
She famously had her son, Tripp, with Levi Johnston in December 2008. They broke up a few months later.

My goodness. Each to their own, but God didn’t wire me that way. I would have to be trapped on a deserted island.... or in prison.

So much for Bristol’s faux career as an abstinence spokeswoman. No wonder this country is going to hell in a hand basket when the very public scion of a prominent so conservative politician brings 2 illegitimate kids into the world.
There was a time on FR when speaking ill of GWB or the “Patriot” Act could land you in purgatory. After that it was speaking ill of Sarah or her brood. Fortunately the tide shifted on the first and hopefully will on the second.
To reiterate your point, she isn’t presidential material. Not like that was ever going to happen except in fantasy land.

At current count, there were at least seven rather flippant responses to what seemed to be a sincere post on the part of Satin Doll.
The gist of the entire thread seems to be disappointment in Bristol Palin’s behavior; but at the same time, some people seem to be incredulous - or else making fun - of someone who is actually doing what Bristol Palin FAILED to do.
