Guess we just have to wait for Texas to secede at this point, and all go there.

Will not happen in our or our children's lifetime. Texas will go full Blue in a general election, either in 2016 or 2020, 100% chance.

Good luck. I am guessing any Texas nation created by secession will have VERY STRICT immigration laws. That border will have 50 caliber mounted towers every 2 or 3 miles and patrols apprehending anybody who gets within 5 miles of their borders, both south AND north.
