Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, countered shortly before the vote that it would be nothing of the sort. He said it would lead to "corporate handouts, worker sellouts," as he said had been the case with the North American Free Trade Agreement and other deals across the past two decades.

It's really an odd feeling. I agree with my democratic senator and not with my rino senator.

This TPP Obamatrade deal is not just about trade but about Obama changing U.S. immigration laws . It allows Obama to import hundreds of millions of 3rd world immigrants into the USA from among the 6 billion people in the 3rd world.

Because of today’s TPA vote Obamatrade (TPP) will soon pass . Today’s vote passing TPA made Obamatrade a certainty because TPA banned adding amendments to TPP . The Senate could have used amendments to stop TPP . Now TPP won’t be stopped. FYI there are 6 billion people in the 3rd world. Obama is about to bring most of them to the USA .They are coming here now so the USA is done.

“The measure to strengthen Obama’s hand in global trade talks cleared the Senate on a vote of 60-38”

Even with a republican majority, obama STILL has a super majority. Go figure.

When was the last time Obama had 60 votes in the Senate? Oh yeah, thats right. Obamacare.

And for this, we voted?

I really do need to take some time and flesh out the theme of Conservatism without Ballots. I couldn’t present any worse of an idea than continuing to participate in elections involving these clowns.

“But this time will different” is the mantra of the battered wife.

This officially ends what little association I’ve had with the Republican Party. I’ve been Tea Party for some time now, but they’re not well organized....

Boehner, the Republican House speaker, called the trade votes "a big win for the American people.

That bastard can go pound sand.

The measure would allow Obama to negotiate global trade deals that Congress could approve or reject, but not change. The administration was seeking the "fast track" as it works to complete a round of trade negotiations involving 12 nations along both sides of the Pacific Ocean, including Japan.

And here I thought that fast track meant what it historically did, that whatever was negotiated is pre-approved.

Kinda makes you wonder what dirt Obama’s friend at the NSA dug up on Boehner.

Support open source equipment design and distributed manufacturing efforts enough, and the trade conspiracies won’t make any difference. If you don’t know what that’s about, look it up.

Just nominate and elect the Governor with a real record of cutting big government spending and supporting the Second Amendment. With enough decreases in funding to every level of government, the opposition will have less money and time to lobby against our constitutional rights.

"The measure to strengthen Obama's hand in global trade talks"

It appears as though he has NO intention of leaving the White House.. EVER. At this point nearing the end of his failed second term, why would he GAF about strengthening his hand at ANYTHING? ???

“In a triumph of divided government, the Republican-controlled Congress passed major trade legislation Wednesday that was long-sought by President Barack Obama but vehemently opposed by most lawmakers in his party. “
