He’s talking about families in which there is abuse. Does your religion advocate spouses stay with those who are beating them up?
Yeah, seriously. I’m not Catholic, in fact, I’m pretty opposed to Catholic theology on a lot of points, but to dispute this statement? Ridiculous.

I was in an abusive relationship, but my Pastor helped me to get the care and help I needed....
It just sounds to me that this Pope is all over the place, and I’m not the only one saying that...he is getting into things that we don’t think he should be...
I loved John Paul 11 and Pope Benedict, but this Pope is just not making any sense to a lot of us followers....maybe this is the time for our faith to kick in or something...
