Wrap up, a Mini Ice Age may be heading our way! Met Office issues warning that temperatures could plummet as Sun enters cooler phase
(Excerpt) Read more at dailymail.co.uk ...
It’s been freezing here so far this summer
OK you warmists. You won, you reversed the warming trend. Now shut up, go away and enjoy the ice age.
“This research shows that the regional impacts of a grand solar minimum are likely to be larger than the global effect, but its still nowhere near big enough to override the expected global warming trend due to man-made change.
“This means that even if we were to see a return to levels of solar activity not seen since the Maunder Minimum, our winters would likely still be getting milder overall.”
The actual article seems to have a different headline. (The Rules...)
“However the Met Office said the new freeze will not be enough to cancel out the effects of global warming.” - So it will be cold, just not as cold as it could be. Sounds like the global warming hucksters have come up with a way to cover their a$$ for the next 40 or 50 years.
This means that even if we were to see a return to levels of solar activity not seen since the Maunder Minimum, our winters would likely still be getting milder overall.
They are saying that cold temperatures for the next few decades will not disprove global warming.
That is the line of nonsense they will push as we go through this solar minimum.
It is “Climate change” silly.
No, they are saying that the cooler temperatures associated with the Maunder Minimum will be partially offset by global warming.
Ah, that's the same thing as what I said.
Repeating what I said, they are saying that cold temperatures for the next few decades will not disprove global warming.
Oops, post 10 should have been addressed to you.
And it won’t.
