“This means that even if we were to see a return to levels of solar activity not seen since the Maunder Minimum, our winters would likely still be getting milder overall.”

They are saying that cold temperatures for the next few decades will not disprove global warming.

That is the line of nonsense they will push as we go through this solar minimum.

No, they are saying that the cooler temperatures associated with the Maunder Minimum will be partially offset by global warming.

Ah, that's the same thing as what I said.

Repeating what I said, they are saying that cold temperatures for the next few decades will not disprove global warming.
